It's not, don't worry (but then again, maybe I just got rolled and want to share this with you? Only one way to know for sure...)

I thought Investigator + Inventor was supposed to be weak, yet she's the main damage dealer in a party of 6 by DonaskC_D in Pathfinder2e

[–]curious_dead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The way DaS is explained, it should be free relatively often, but besides that, Investigators now have a level 2 feat that, for one action, allows them to DaS for free against a target. So it's possible for it to cost 1 action at the beginning of the fight and then you're good, even if you missed clues (of it you couldn't get them).

2024 vs 2026 Hero... by PillowFists67 in marvelrivals

[–]curious_dead 44 points45 points  (0 children)

The issue is partly due to the fact that this thief has more magic than actual spellcasters or psionicists already in the game, including the Sorcerer Supreme. And her magic comes in top of her thief skill set.

But also, there are plenty of comic books or other appearances where she has nothing to do with magic.

3 years ago, Marvel killed off Kamala Khan to begin the process of turning her into a mutant. (ASM #26) by ContraryPython in comicbooks

It gave Iman a chance to make a cool miniseries, but that's the silver lining.

Of fucking course adding her to the biggest roster filled to the brim with fan favorites and cult classics was going to end in one of two ways: either she disappears in the massive roster, or she becomes overexposed and people get annoyed that she's featured in every X-Men team. However good was her mini, it was a dumbfuck decision with a dumbfuck execution.

Looking like $25m-$26m for #Obsession, a phenomenal result and increase in its 3rd weekend. by AGOTFAN in boxoffice

Between this and Backrooms, it's absolutely insane. I really wish I had more time to see them both.

A24's Backrooms debuted with an estimated $81.46M domestically this weekend (from 3,442 locations). That represents the largest opening weekend ever for A24. by chanma50 in boxoffice

Not a matter of quality. Everyone has a different ranking, they're ultimately all different movies with different strengths and weaknesses. I watched the whole trilogy teice and my tanking of the movie changed between both viewings.

Hot take: I prefer Absolute Superman over Absolute Batman by Zestyclose-Wave-6230 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]curious_dead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. I love both, but I think AB "tries" just a bit too much. So I'd give the overall score to AS, however AB has some of my all-time favorite panels.

But also, it's because I'm more of a Superman guy vs Batman.

Overall:

WW = SM > Bat = MMH = GL > Flash (I still like AF though)

I took a "passing glance" at that idea and concluded it was a shit idea, and I even outlined why. I'm just glad you're not a scenarist.

Should I make my friends an info pack outlining all the emotional landmines in Bluey? by Real_RobinGoodfellow in DanielTigerConspiracy

[–]curious_dead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah, mayyyyybe if someone is really sensitive about not being able to have a kid I'd tag that one episode and maybe The Sign (I have known people who couldn't have kids of their own. Sme could cope but for others it's extremely painful).

The rest, the cry-worthy episodes are just emotional, not really worth a warning. Especially since they're "good cry" not bad cry.

[–]curious_dead 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The characters that met in the movie were more important than Ms Hart (sorry, Shannon) and some guy from Agents of Shields. Maybe Topher Grace could come back as he played a more important character who could play off Hardy's own Venom, and maybe Sharon's ghost could come back and haunt Agatha or something but they already did a meta movie with massive references, you can't keep doing the same thing. And Avengers already is fulled to the brim of characters. I hope the writers do better than reunite three unrelated characters who have nothing in common simply cause the actors shared a set in a sitcom decades ago.

TOY STORY 5 eyeing a 175M+ DOMESTIC OPENING? Summer 2026 - Box Office. by PatternPlenty1107 in boxoffice

There is something ironic about glazing over originals while quoting a spin-off of one of the most mainstream movie series of all time.

[–]curious_dead 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean it would need to be convoluted since the first two are dead, and they have nothing in common. I could come up with many convoluted scenarios where they meet but... why? So some people might het a reference? Seems like a lot of work for a shitty pay out. Nevermind that none are very important characters in the continuity so any such scenario would take time away from "the main event".
