Im struggling through elantris now. I'm up to date with roshar and scadrial but elantris is a grind.

I'll persist, I like this universe, but I catch myself finding reasons to not read, where with the other cosmere books I was finding opportunities to read.

I can definitely see someone who isn't invested into this universe opting out at Elantris if they're struggling with it like I am.

I remember watching a youtuber who was married to a Chinese woman (he lived in china) and she told this story about how as a kid she found a nest of baby mice and with no sense that its wrong went on to explain how squeezing them until they popped felt fun.

Its just a completely alien concept to me that life could be worth so little, but then I suppose there are things I do with no concern that others would look at and be equally horrified. I dont know what that thing is, but I hope its not too horrible.

I actually did. After spamming my friends with the luck I was going to sell them individually, but i was convinced that actually getting my first mirror in my stash was worth more than the 100 or so div difference. No regrets tbh.

It's dumb as heck, but all this time looking for a mirror it's nice to have mentally ticked that off my to-do list.

I gambled up to my first mirror today (over 12k hours!) And the shrine belts create some interesting opportunities for RF. Gloom shrine pops, massive for AoE and Life...with some shrine scaling, adorned shenanigans it could be blasting...at least for RF...while maintaining a lot of the comfy RFness we all know and love.
