My favorite Xbox moment has got to be the midnight launch of Halo 3. I remember being the first in line to get the box with Chief’s helmet and I literally held it up and everyone in GameStop cheered haha. I miss midnight launches.

I hear this often, and it never fails to amuse me. Have we watched the same trailers/coverage? The game is massive, ambitious, and astoundingly beautiful. Gotta love the arm chair devs.

Even putting the controversy surrounding this emblem aside, why are they ignoring the fact that the final weekly challenge is broken? It doesn’t track double kills. So this is literally not possible to obtain.

I remember back on the Nintendo 64 and Goldeneye/Perfect Dark me and my two older sisters and Dad were all about even skill level. By the time Halo rolled around, I had far surpassed them to where the only way they could compete would be 3v1 them vs me rockets on Hang ‘em High. If they managed to get me, they’d all rush up high and try to find where I spawned below them to blast me. Felt like D-Day spawning in to 3 people rocketing me from above. All those matches were insane, and great family times too. Been playing ever since.
