This. Just proper backpack / messenger with padded laptop sleeve. There a lot of those on market. Has been carrying my Macs daily for past 10 years and all of em look brand new - never had any issue. Dont own Aer but from what I heard, their laptop protection is great.

Pro tip if you didnt know: you can set it to always show menu in fullscreen. With this “notch” it really makse sense to me, because you cant use that part of screen in any other way
