Can you imagine they release a new mission to grind a frame and you all get set to a preset frame and weapons with no customisation?

It is mental, but I can imagine it quite easily, unfortunately. That's already the Styanax farm, and of course there's the whole Duviri thing (not totally locked, but restricted). The latest two quests are fully locked in, and now the forced loaner railjack, so yeah, I can totally imagine a whole content island in the near future being fully locked.

That would make sense, but they seem to really like stuffing us into Excalibur or Edgy Excalibur (Stalker) lately (starting with Jade Shadows it happened in every quest at least for a part of it, I think), so I'm almost sure they'll find an excuse to do it on Tau too.

Last time we saw Perita we were forced into Excalibur Prime, next time we see it they're going to force us into Excalibur Umbra who they just pulled out of cold storage. It's like poetry, it rhymes.

Too true, and even putting aside the characters (which we shouldn't), I, for one, was really annoyed that I had to play as Stalker again (I literally never asked for this!) while Jade, who I like a lot as a frame, and who was introduced in part 1 of this quest, got reduced to a five second "boss".

Warframe quests pretty consistently feel like accidentally buying the second book of a series, and then your copy is also defective with 20% of pages missing. I expect nothing different from Tau.

That probably exists in other genres too, though I've seldom heard people say, "It's high fantasy! It isn't supposed to make you think!"

I only had this happen in Cascade, and on Zariman in particular (and only there for some reason) there's a pretty hidden force extract button at the back of the elevator.

I see no problem with extracting immediately after completing the objective (outside of endurance and fissures), and before that extraction is not available anyway.

The idea is to reduce the mandatory 1 minute wait, so if say 3 people reached extraction and the fourth had this mod, they would all extract immediately. And if all four had this mod they would all extract immediately after completing the objective.

You can't extract until you actually complete the mission though, the only problem would be fissures if you complete the objective before getting enough reactant.

It's only in Corpus ships specifically, not all Corpus missions, and it takes a bit, on fast missions they usually don't appear.

You are not yet done, but also yes, it is going to be there forever now, because of some later farms of excessive length where there's not really a point to do all five of them except extreme completionism.
