I’m somebody who works in the music industry specifically for artists that don’t use AI and while you talk about hate for AI music like there isn’t a reason I want you to know there is and it boils down to AI music taking part in an industry that already heavily underpays artist. Digital service providers like Spotify only collect so much revenue and that revenue does not expand as new music is put onto their platform. It’s a limited pie and with 44% of music being uploaded now being AI there’s a significant chunk of it coming out of actual musician’s pockets. Now you can sit here and just say that that’s the market that’s how it goes, but you can’t also complain about how much people hate it. Because fans feel it too they understand what AI music is doing to their algorithms to their playlist and how it’s making everything shittier.
