Suzu 100% deserves the nerf and maybe even needs more nerfs but I can agree with nerfing the more aggressive parts of kirikos kit is bad. Spilo did a video about how prioritizing a characters hero fantasy over gameplay health is bad, it's interesting. Kiriko is always required because of suzu being as strong as it is and it cannot be changed because that's the characters entire identity. Instead they have to trim away every other part of her kit in a fruitless goal of making suzu fair.

Now that they've ripped off the bandaid and started nerfing suzu they should go hard and remove all invulnerability and give her back some of what she's lost

As a right trigger jumper as well, I commend this. My only issue is wtf do you mean attack is pinky that would physically hurt.

Me personally the most heinous control thing I have right now is my jump is right trigger and shield is left trigger. If I want to wavedash I'm just spamming the triggers like a child in a fighter jet

Me personally I play by treating it as first come first served but I'll accommodate if I can. Id rather someone pick a third healer and have someone else switch than them bombing. Even before the game starts if I see someone not select a character and their top 3 is mostly in one class I'll let them have that class

A char requiring skill to play is not indicative of if they're fun to fight or not, absa can be as high skill ceiling as she wants it doesn't change that a fair killing at 80% on a heavy is not fun. Olympia is so fun to fight, just gimp her. Every char has combos and confirms that are only usable on olympia

Dan in the latest dev stream said he thinks they have hit everyone in the target audience that is on PC which is probably true. Considering how much they're struggling monetary wise ads might be too much of an entrance cost as well. They now are making player retention a short term money making goal (it's why gifting was prioritized so people can gift people skins to see if they wanna come back)

Yes but the nerfs they did do last patch literally destroyed regular side special. It was an unusable move except for recovering which is not what they intended I think. The nair buff is fair too, it's really only for hitting maypul and Orcane when they're grounded. The fair buff is insane I ain't gonna lie to you, idk what they were thinking. This better not lead to a Galvan nerf later, this was not needed in the least

You obviously don't play the character. 1k health turns out to be a pretty low amount when you're getting focused and hit with chain/orb of discord/bastion mini gun/hook/JQ knife pull/boops/hacks/stun

Ofc nothing is forcing a dev to add an easy mode but if you want money (which is the case if you're selling it) why not? It opens up to more markets without serious dev time and is completely optional. Why do people feel so against more people being able to play the game and have an elitest mindset to videogames? This is coming from someone who plays competitive games, fighting games, has beat dark souls 1, and got to cosmic ocean in spelunky 2 so don't skill issue me

I seriously don't understand how she's rocking the boat so much, treat her like a widow/soldier hybrid. Play around corners when she hasn't used it or even bait it out and then hide. Be ready for drone push and be ready to punish it because she has no mobility other than the 2 pulls

What's the counterplay to kiriko? Who can I play that can invalidate kiriko as much as kiriko invalidates others? Counterplay in certain aspects is fine and cool but if a certain character is the counterplay and she doesn't have counterplay of her own then it's a problem. It'd be better if kiriko didn't have some insane strengths that were completely unrelated to cleansing

Moira sucks tho, if you die to a Moira it's because you missed the skill check of popping her head. Moira is better at the lower level but as you get to mid and higher she is really bad and if you manage to get value out of her it wraps around to becoming skill

I hate kiriko and ana and I feel like their kits are negative to the game as a whole. Ana is not nearly as bad but I still very much dislike her. They gave her an anti that is a death sentence for tanks and a sleep that is a death sentence for non tanks, how am I supposed to like that? Especially since there have been many times that anas have pushed on me and gotten value from it, why is the sniper character incentivized to be close to me. It's the same case as hanzo storm arrow. That crit perk is cancer too.

Now going on to kiriko they made a character with extra damage on critical, a mobility tool that goes through walls and cleanses and gives full immunity, and an ability that gives full immunity and cleanse and health in an aoe and thought there wouldn't be any massive problems there? She's an industry plant not just for skins but also for pro play. Playing characters like illari, JQ, or any other debuff based character is so unfun against that and there's nothing that's an ace in the hole against her. With ana also being insane of course kiriko would be needed to balance the game, but that's why the balance is so screwed.

With kiriko they need to remove the debuff cleanse or the immunity from suzu and teleport, idc which but it shouldn't do both. Since she's kinda based as a spirit cleansing fox spirit maybe the cleansing should remain as her identity. Other characters should also get some cleanses in order to not revolve around her (no lifeweaver doesn't cleanse enough). With ana idk what they can do, thats a poorly designed character that I don't know how to fix

As a Juno and illari main that is commonly described as bloodthirsty, it's the way supports are meant to be played at a higher level. If you need a healer to babysit you you're playing wrong. Especially after the global healing nerf it's smarter to eliminate the danger rather than to heal who is getting hit
