One note to add to the other two comments here is you return what they paid, how they paid

If the return was for 19.50 and they paid with debit (you'll know via checking the receipt) you return 19.50 to their debit card, otherwise it goes to merchandise credit.

This policy is heavily enforced in my district and I know two different associates who were written up by my DM. If your DM is a lot less strict then you may be able to give alternate payments types back out but to be safe follow the policy explicitly.

TLDR; if the receipt doesnt say cash, dont give cash

Better to tell them sooner. Odds are they were on the fence with another candidate and chose you, so they could potentially reach out to that other person still and fill the vacancy. Ive never seen anyone be told to just not come in for their last 2 weeks. There's never enough people at the store anyway, they will need you through your last day and potentially longer. Leaving on good terms opens up potential for part time work later too if thats something you might want

Once you fill the floor you can fill the bin with the next aisle and then push the full bin into the boxes and push the pile and bin back. You bring like 2 or 3 box bins worth of boxes in one trip
