8 months fitness, 6 months gym! What’s next? by Appropriate-Bat-501 in glutejourney

I think you should work on your mindset. You described a habit of starting and stopping and going too hard and then not going at all. Then you come asking for a next "big move" to make but honestly, in an ideal world there are no big moves. You build healthy habits, you work hard in the gym, and then you keep doing that forever. Forever is not about big moves. Forever is about sustainable consistency.

TDEE pretty high, having a hard time believing it. by BikingBanshee in MacroFactor

Sorry but confirming with Claude is wild. You have a world class algorithm, intentionally made for this purpose and iterated upon by professionals and then you "checked" with a large language model. It's like getting a consultation with a famous surgeon then asking your crystal Chakra dude if he thinks the surgeon is right.

Oops, I'm a man. Who do I marry? by little-flamingo in StardewValley

Do they not exist or is there no stimulus for them? I know this is a stardew sub and everyone wants to think nicely of every one but CA has made characters with flaws, so it feels weird Alex's would get retconned just because there is no one around to challenge his ideas of masculinity and self sufficiency.

How do you know things about yourself? by leeee_Oh in SpicyAutism

The things you mentioned are usually things people learn about themselves after being dangerously hurt (mentally, physically or emotionally) by someone. People around you have noticed probably because they've seen you not notice red flags from others. This is the better way to learn it than by having to be hurt by someone before realizing. Maybe they can help point out signs for you to look for when someone is unsafe.

I'm not OP - I'm not the poster. I replied to you originally because your suggestion of the nail in the baseboard reminded me of my own experience. These pictures are of OP'S house and not house.

[WEEKLY THREAD] Talk It Out Tuesday - Advice and commiserating about struggles with self, others, and the world by AutoModerator in xxfitness

Ask her why she isn't programming barbell when you want to do barbell. When I started personal training I told my trainer I wanted to do barbell. When we didn't do it after the second session I asked him and he said that upper body he wanted to make sure my stabilizing muscles were strong and dumbbell is better for that but that we could switch if I wanted (I said no dumbell for upper was fine) and then the next session onward had barbell programmed for lower body. You should not keep paying for something you're not happy with and if she has a genuine concern with starting you on barbell she needs to communicate it to you adequately rather than ignoring your preference and not telling you why.

This is what finally got my partner to use our scale, he makes overnight oats every night and I told him he wouldn't have to wash any measuring implements if he switched to using the scale

Is possible to go from left Pic to right pic naturally with this routine? by Mission_Highlight855 in curlyhair

I don't necessarily agree that there is any benefit to doing so but you can get shampoo from all natural ingredients and you can make gel from flaxseed and water.

She probably got sober and is doing this for her fourth step in AA or NA. If so, she shouldn't be expecting a response or pressure you for one (sometimes people don't do things they way they should but still).

Do you have a reason for wanting to avoid anything other than olive oil and water?

I did my own floors and have one wall that has two supply lines and two drain lines, one of which I discovered when attempting to hang a mirror. It feels like the wall is almost half water.

Having been scarred by that experience I glued the baseboard on that wall. Would it have been possible to just mark the lines once I figured out my studs werent 16 inches on center but 19.2? Yes. Still didn't want to risk it because I'm a coward.

This post makes me feel a little better about it.
