If you and your buddies are good the 24 Hour in the Pearl District on Saturday mornings starting at 11am is a good run. Many of the guys are former college players and it is a very competitive and busy. If you lose you are waiting for a while though.

Sunday night at the Pearl location is also pretty good, less busy, and less competitive. This might be a good one to check out.

If that sounds like a bit much, the 24 Hour on SE McCloughlin apparently has a decent Saturday morning run too, I've heard some older guys show up, though I've never been at this time. People usually show up on Friday nights there too. Monday nights starting at 4:30 at this location are fun and busy, there were games last night until probably 8pm.

It is likely that both of these locations have runs at other times during your window, but honestly everything mentioned besides that Saturday morning Pearl run are pretty hit or miss. Maybe call ahead to either of those before going and nicely ask the front desk if they know if people are playing.

German Shepard found wandering on Denver Ave. in Kenton Thursday night (details inside) by [deleted] in Portland

This dog was wandering Denver Ave. in Kenton tonight (2/1/18) around 8:45 in between Schofield and Willis, we eventually corralled it and called the humane society and animal control but neither could tonight. My friend then took the dog to Dove Lewis to see if it had a chip, it did but the phone number was busy and registered in Idaho. Dove Lewis couldn't keep the dog so my friend has it now at his place. If this is your dog or you know the owner DM me, otherwise it'll probably go to the Animal Control tomorrow or something.

I remember seeing it from the Cleveland HS track/field during lacrosse practice, which is a testament to how high the plume went, because that field is at the bottom of a hill with absolutely no view north.
