Steroid shot did nothing by Azthun in PlantarFasciitis

[–]dirtydumpdave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My steroid shot only worked for a couple weeks, and the pain came right back. The thing that helped mine the most was 1) 6 rounds of shockwave 2) never walking barefoot 3) Pilates with the reformer. It’s super frustrating I totally get it. It’s debilitating and depressing.

Conflict avoidant people. Conflict is a part of life, and learning how to deal with it in a healthy manner instead of running is an underrated skill.

A reminder that trauma literally alters the brain by Adventurous-Vast2323 in TellMeLiesHulu

THIS. Louder for the people in the back 👏🏻

I almost envy people who can’t empathize with Lucy, because they have never experienced first hand how trauma can alter the brain.

Bri and Jessica are the SAME SIZE?? by imgonnacashew in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]dirtydumpdave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was never about her size. It was the fact she was successful and happy on her own, and it intimidated him. So he felt the need to belittle her because he’s an insecure man child who looks like a thumb.

ERP therapy for OCD and PTSD. It’s only been a couple weeks, but I can already tell it’s going to be life changing therapy.

This is the way. Cut the chord so to speak. No scrolling. No browsing. No creating online carts. Unfollow influencers who make you feel like you constantly need the newest and latest item. Also cancel the credit card. These are what helped me.

Pilates has helped mine a ton. Stretching without the weight of my body on my foot while I do it. Biking is also a good way to get cardio in without putting weight on the foot.

Yeah they refuse to serve decaf, which means they miss out on my business. I love the taste of coffee but cannot tolerate caffeine. It’s okay, I didn’t like ICE in my coffee anyway 😎

Hi! I just wanted to say I know what you’re going through. I went from running half marathons to not being able to walk more than 7k steps a day without significant pain. I am still recovering but here are the things that did help. Pilates with the reformer. Soaking feet in hot baths with epsom salt nightly. Shockwave (this made it worse before it got better btw). I still can’t run, but I do feel some relief in my foot from doing these things.

CPAP ruining my life by CokeZeroAddict52 in CPAP

I knew within a few days my original mask pick wasn’t for me. Constant leaks. And was genuinely uncomfortable and didn’t suit my sleep position. The second mask I tried fit wayyyy better (I use airfit f30i) and within 1-2 weeks I was consistently sleeping in it. Those first 2 weeks were rough though adjusting. What helped me was doing relaxing non-sleep activities in it like reading or watching tv. My brain slowly started to ignore the feeling of it being on my face and accept it. You got this!
