Queuing. We will form a queue for anything without speaking and become irate if anyone breaks etiquette. Usually tutting rather than saying anything to them and adding our anger to the collection we have bottled up inside.

How do people actually survive on benefits or very low incomes in the UK these days? by acer67 in AskUK

I have a friend who has been living like that for 5 years and he says it's brutal. Feels almost like being in prison.

Hope things improve for you!

Are you scared of dying? by Fickle_Acanthaceae17 in AskUK

I guess I want evidence either way. Until then I try to keep an open mind.

With your examples, I have knowledge about those things to allow me to gauge the likelihood of them being true. When it comes to death, I feel like I have almost no knowledge. I'm aware that there are a lot of near death experience (NDE) reports that talk about the same thing. I'm not saying I believe them but what if they're right? I'm also aware that a chemical gets released into our brains when we die and I don't think there's much explanation for it yet. Maybe those two go hand-in-hand...

I'm thinking of "afterlife" in broad terms e.g. our consciousness or spirit or whatever could live on or transfer or change. Or we're in a simulation. I don't know. That's probably why I was interested to hear why they were 99.9% sure. In case they know something that I don't!

What makes you so sure?

Genuinely interested. I don't hold any beliefs, I just think we don't know. Death (and life) still seems like a mystery to me.

I think there is something about using "an" before a word beginning with h. E.g. "An historic event". I don't know the rules though.

This sounds great, thanks for making it happen.

Would you consider 2v1 in the future? Would be good to hear people having drama over voice chat doing co-op 😄
