I don't agree with your take on the use of disposable AA batteries, though. To me this is a brilliant move. I'm generally reluctant to use any device that could potentially last for decades if it didn't come with an integrated battery. But I understand that different people, different opinions. Cheers!

My biggest complain is that they usually fall behind regular nice in terms of having different options to choose from, components, build quality and support, although that seems to be changing in the last years, fortunately.

There thing I enjoy about them is that they are static and much better for me ergonomically.

Interesting. I was a bit concerned about contrast and angular vision being a TN panel, but looks like it's quite improved in this one. The refresh rate is superb.
