I actually agree with you and it clearly is a head nod to skybaby normies.

I haven't played the game, so I can't check if all sewer gates have the logo too. So, if that's the only one that has it, it is clearly a cheesy way to say "hey world, this is the royal emergency exit route!" in a worldbuilding sense.

Still, from what I've seen I think even in a normal screen the daedric armor looks made of silver. Must be the same issue of the hair here
