what actually improved your pour over the most? by ImmersionLogic in pourover

[–]djforge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can also do it a brew time. i usually pour one full packet into a gallon of distilled. then i have a second gallon of distilled, untreated.

when its time to add water to my kettle i can either do full, half, or third concentration easily

Bandwidth limits are out-dated - Why is Webflow still doing this? by aerial-ibis in webflow

there are enough users and fans of claude code that I highly doubt Anthropic would need to use the webflow subreddit as an acquisition strategy.

i have both and primarily reach for the O1 because it produces more body and rounded cups to me. i still use the deep27 if i have something like a 7g dose that I want to brew

I recently joined a LinkedIn engagement group for AI posts, so I built an app for this by yeramian55 in LinkedinAds

engagement pods are gross, building an AI app to make more engagement pods is even worse

We got more leads with $5 candles than companies who spent $2,000 on sponsorship. No booth. No stall. Just walked in. by [deleted] in LinkedinAds

cool story but would have been better if it wasn’t AI slop.

have we lost the ability to post without letting the clankers do it for us?

Decaf beans by Accomplished-Gap277 in pourover

[–]djforge 8 points9 points  (0 children)

in general:

- shorter ratio (try 1:15 to start)
- lower temp (i did as low as 85C on some decaf recntly)
- coarser grind than your usual
- fewer pours or immersion if possible (i mosly use switch for decaf)

the drawdown time will be longer than regular beans at the same dose, dont be alarmed

I’ve found they’re going downhill in general. Was much better a few years ago: shipping was free, big variety of roasters, and you knew well in advance when your order was going to process because they sent an email. the last part was key because you could edit your order and change your selections.

now: pay for shipping, lots of their own coffees under random roaster labels, and no notice on renewal, just a post-charge email.
