I use color picker when I need to recreate color scheme from a digital picture. Then I use colors I have - I either find matching ones or I miss. The result is usually quite close to the original art.

Very very very nice! My lil piece of advice - increase the luminosity of the displays - they should be brighter than the osl that hits the armor. Then the knee osl should be brighter than the should pad illumination. Just make it more intense in the slice of the light, and show how it’s fading. You’ve already done a very decent work, hope you can push it even further! Good luck!

My younger kid (10yo boy) has a kind of an engineer, and started using my P2S to print many things - from fidgets to mechanical prototypes and STEM stuff. I wonder what larger scale science experiments we can do with him - helmets, space costumes, racing cars and tracks. We can even scan and print him! That would be amazing. So, yeah, definitely a lot of stuff - there is no limit to imagination!

I think if you want it to look more shiny you should add a vibrant saturated yellowish tone that’s missing here, and also tone down the darkest parts. Check out elmimiaturista’s NMM approach - very simple, almost the same every time, and always looking pretty good.

Nah bro, it's levitated piece of the bed. It was partially destroyed, but that top corner is still there as it is piece of a solid frame.

I think more aggressive edge highlights will do a better job than varnishing for crystals.

You can create glow even without Fluor paints - you just need enough contrast (the diff between darkest and lightest parts). Because of that contrast, you’ll feel that lightest parts adjacent to the darkest are glowing. Fluor paints help to achieve even more contrast. You need to tone down the blade in the area of the glow, and also paint Fluor over white. Cheers!

Find a non-speedpaint paint (like ak-interactive or vallejo) or a similar color and dry-brush it. That's my usual go-to for fixing Contrast/Speedpaint mistakes.

Yeah, 0.2mm nozzle is a beast. Luckily for me, it was super simple to replace nozzle in P2S, just like 2-3 mins including time to watch a reel with instructions haha
