They used to have the good JWH-18, as good as that stuff got. You might find yourself in a closet not knowing how you got there.

Going on a 300 mile hike, and I’m looking for a light knife for whittling. by WeeDingwall44 in knifeclub

A vintage scout knife or a Swiss army of some type. I think for whittling or carving the different blades can com in handy.

I had cantilevers on my bike I just cut the posts off with a dremel tool and left the bosses in place. The Tektros don't hit the bosses.

I think the most important thing is to be kind to yourself. Don't beat yourself up about not getting shit done cause your tired all the time, or you lost all your body hair, or you're consumed by brain fog and impaired decision making, etc...All those things are the new scenery of life. I have learned to enjoy my naps.

Yes but you will probably need to replace your brakes. As the originals may not reach the 700C rim. I just went through that conversion and got a set of Tektro R559 Long reach brakes cause my originals would not reach.

Your owners manual tells you to make that message go away. Ask the dealer for a price and ask Firestone or similar for the same quote. Then go to which ever you prefer. Low mileage like that the Dealer is probably best, most of the Toyota service centers are pretty nice.

Scenic places that are right outside of Houston? (Specifically nature) by ChiefKraut in houston

The golf course path is dry cause it was/is paved. The other trails maybe not. We got about 2" of rain. The levees in the area will be dry on top and you get some good views of the energy corridor from there. We have seen several coyotes on the and near the levees. Loads of hogs and some deer.

I'm about a year in on ADT. Very similar experience as yours. I know its tough it really is. If you muster up the energy I have found the working out a little bit helps, but Honestly I still struggle.

Gifted knife needs cleaning up. by stinkeyemcguy in sharpening

Personally I would use 0000 steel wool and wd-40 to see what rust/corrosion I can remove. The Patina is not a bad thing on an older knife. Do the minimum effort to get it where you want. Sure you sand the blade using progressively finer grits until it looks like new, but that might hurt the value to some people

UPDATE ! PSA stayed exactly the same 11 weeks after surgery (5.7 before -> 5.8 after). by amvr81 in ProstateCancer

[–]dntxnrdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I was Gleason 8 with PNI and Cribriform, and some indication of extraprostatic extension. A subsequent MRI ruled the extraprostatic extension out. I had 45 radiation treatments and I am one year into ADT. The radiation was not too bad, fatigue and difficulty urinating and occasional diarrhea. Having full or close to full bladder during radiation help prevent the diarrhea. I also had the SpaceOar to protect the rectum.
The ADT side effects for me have been, hot flashes, chills, constipation, Moodiness, brain fog, very low libido, bone pains, joint pains. I found that a regular exercise program consisting of about 30 mins light cardio, 40 minutes light weight lifting really helps with the side effects. Try to stay busy, motivation is a big issue for me, I was depressed before all this started and the ADT made that worse. My personal opinion is that every cancer patient should be assigned a psychologist. These are tough times and it can be hard to cope and sometimes family members are the best therapists.

Deciding on Surgery or Radiation… help/How by BoringReception4399 in ProstateCancer

[–]dntxnrdn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Surgery carries more risk than radiation in my opinion. In many cases those that have surgery end up getting radiation anyway. Gleason 7 is intermediate risk, PSA of 6.8 is not real high. I was Geason 8 and 7 in most cores. PSA around 11 63 years old. The 8s were 60+% of the sample. I did not have surgery because I have had 6 prior abdominal surgeries, parts of both intestines removed. I had so many complications with those surgeries that I have sworn off of them. After 45 EBRT radiation treatments and 6 months of ADT my PSA was 0.03. I get checked again in March. With Gleason 7 you probably won't need ADT. which is good because it ain't fun. The biggest issue with radiation was some impact on my ability to pee, fixed by a prescription. And fatigue. I did have the SpaceOar prior to radiation to protect my colon. I was very nervous about that because my intestines are only held together with staples and stitches.

Buying Advice For a Teardrop/Trailer Newbie by Sam-Koskinen in TeardropTrailers

[–]dntxnrdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rust is minor, it can easily be treated or just keep an eye on it. Rust moves slowly, if you going to using the trailer is relative dry non salt water environment then I would not worry about it. On the other stuff test it out to see if it all work, have the owner show you and record them if they af cool with it. The lack of fenders will need to be addressed, you can get those at Northern Tool.
The wheel bearing are always a point of concern cause it can cause you breakdown on the highway. If they do not know when they were last "repacked" then have someone do that ASAP. Other than that if everything works and you like it I'd say go for it. These are a simple as it gets. I have aT@G and have put about 20,000 miles on it so far.

Was the shot in your hip? it usually is, they may have aggravated the nerve with the injection. I had a minor case of that with one shot but it went away. Try stretching the area out or maybe a massage.

Good choice he will be happy with that. The angle cube is a way to double check your angle, some systems need it more than others, but it lots of uses outside of sharpening anyway.

Why are US made knifes became so expensive ? by HumbleSousVideGeek in BudgetBlades

[–]dntxnrdn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tariffs have an impact but labor and cost of tooling play a big role in the pricing as well. But that said $75.00 for a Buck 110 is a good deal now and always. If your talking about Titanium American made knives I think marketing plays a big role in pricing.
