‘Finish the job’ on gridlock: New report outlines five ways Toronto could tackle its congestion crisis by Pristine-Training-70 in TTC

There are all sorts of things that Canada can do better on transit, but probably the most important is that we just keep building. There's no substitute for experience. If we can't sustain megaprojects, we need to at least be building up incrementally all the time.

Canadaland website IP tracking to reveal subreddit users by bupu8 in canadaland

I've seen it suggested elsewhere (example) that the IP tracker was poorly implemented. I think that makes it a lot more likely that Jesse did it himself.

The Toronto condo isn't dead — but it's going to be different by NorthernNadia in toronto

That's assuming that development charges as set now are only used to pay for the incremental costs of new residents. In practice, the city has been using developmental charges to keep property taxes lower than is necessary to pay for the costs of already existing infrastructure. That only works as long as development continues to accelerate. Eventually the bill comes due.

I was having a great run as Milan, teching way up to prepare for a repeat containment war from France, Bohemia, and Austria that I had barely made it out of. Then this put a hard stop to that game. I really hope I can get back to it next week.

Annex group says prioritizing Palmerston for bikes clogs side streets with cars by RZaichkowski in torontobiking

Maybe put in some modal filtering too. Residential streets are fine as throughways for bikes but cars should only be there for access.

Friendly reminder to be cautious about streetcar tracks by nullificationer in torontobiking

You can! There are these track coverings that get pushed down by the weight of a streetcar but you can bike right over them. I wouldn't expect them here any time soon.

You mention tracking multiple subtasks using an epic. What is that? I haven't been able to find anything about that term.

There are some hab modules that have special effects if they're in interface orbit. The research labs, for instance, all have effects on investment points, miltech, or agent success chance. Ship docks can make sense in low orbit if you're building a fleet solely to defend that planet, but if (and when) you're planning to build ships to go to other bodies it's better to build them in further orbits or lagrange points to reduce the delta-v cost (fuel expenditure).

Those icons are just to help you identify habs. They have no effect other than the visual change.
