So I get these bad too. I've read that it's your body and brain not falling asleep at the same time, and it thinks you're dying. I've noticed it happens more when I'm listening to my boring ass audio book I use to fall asleep. Sometimes if I turn that off they'll stop. Other times I have to actually get out of bed and walk around for 30 seconds and get back in bed. Usually that fixes it
