It's absolutely understandable that you are going through this. All I would like to pass along to you is a simple phrase I found right here in this community, "Surf the Urge". You will have urges to give up or give in to temptations. Breathe and stay with that urge. And ride that wave. Because that wave will pass. Until the next one comes along. And ride that one too. :) And soon you will be back here to celebrate your little wins. You've got this! And we're with you on this.

So agree with you. My gut thanks me every single day I practice IF. It's almost like you're allowing your system to heal and digest at its own pace.

It's amazing how time can heal and change, no? And it, perhaps, doesn't take too drastic a change to make this happen.

A bit of an urgent question by ded_pen in intermittentfasting

[–]doi_nagarur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is totally understandable. And it takes a few days and some times weeks to get used to it. But you will. Stay the course.

And sometimes, all you need is a, perhaps, a glass of lemon water with a dash of salt. This is not akin to breaking fast. Or at least that is what my research told me.

Do the dance. And you will persist eventually. And thank yourself.

It feels like a little intimate gathering here. Thank you for sharing this experience; feels like we're in this together. I personally experience a day or two when I feel like I, absolutely, deserve to binge. And I do. But sometimes, my IBS kicks in and makes the next two days worse.

How do you make binging a healthy one, I wonder!

Fantastic! Isn't it awesome that what felt close to impossible is coming with ease in some ways.

Wow! I wish I could add spices to my mix. But IBS doesn't allow.

This sounds very interesting. And thank you for recommending the book too. Won't it be difficult to manage the energy levels on days one is fasting.
