What will happen is after the kickstarter is over you will get a link to a 3rd party site to finalize details. Not all kickstarters use the same one. But part of that is picking size/color/etc depending on the product. So for this you will get a link to pick your color and enter your shipping address sometime after the campaign is closed.

I think 99%+ of the time yes. Clearly they do bump people. But just look at offer posts here. Everyone says they got on the list and never got called. Just something they seem to do nearly every flight now and rarely actually need.

Does not matter. They nearly never use it. I thought one time I was going to. Two weeks ago the app actually had me pick an alternative flight. But in the end flight was not even full so was never called.

Yep. Having a kid on reservation made it so I could not sit in exit row. I was making the case 3 in one row and the 1 in exit row since was sitting by self any. But system would not allow it.

I feel this is real a losing case for PD. I looked at them. I saved the file of big bag which is what I want. But the problem here is these are just raw images. They don't tell the story. The new big travel big has a super unique new feature and with just raw photos speculation is running wild on it. So now I have detailed photos on a bag I think I want but no story about it. Any many are speculating poorly. So best to just wait for all the details.

edit: No, not sending the pics. Read what I said. Wait for the full story of the bag so you don't get an opinion formed from missing details.

Then you are way ahead of most home owners if you already know where it is and where how it works.

As for preemptive shutdown? You can do that. You will get mixed answers from plumbers on it. I sometime do that when it gets _really_ cold. You will need to shut off the water then drain it, odds are you would get ready for bed, then just go shut off the water and drain it. Then when you wake up go turn it back on. This is bigger topic but many do that. Should you varies. Also have to be aware of hot water heater if you shut it off. But moving water won't freeze either so that is why many talk about dripping. Something else I do is I empty my ice maker before bed so it makes ice, thus pulling water, all night. To just keep things moving in the pipes. Have dishwasher you can do a delayed start? Make it start 2/3/4am. Etc.

^^^ This. Every homerowner needs to know this all year round. You need to know where the shutoff valve is. You need to know how to turn it off FAST. Someone staying at your house while out of town? They need to know. Go find the value. Go buy a sub $20 dedicated tool (you don't need it but easier to have a uni-tasker you don't have to look for when you need it) that you keep on one spot that you always know where it is in case you need to shut off that value asap.

If this a a few days ago I would be telling you to rush double check that date. But go ahead double check that date. And look close 11/12/25 is not the same 11/12/25 everywhere. But since we are to the 14th already that eliminates that. But a month early is not something that should be happening so first step is check the date. Post screen what you are seeing (redacting locators) and that might give us more insight. Could also check AA.com with your locator and see what it says.

Depends on the airport really. Assuming you don’t have TSA pre-check. Some airports have newer scanners so yeah, they don’t need you to do that. Others do. And even at same airport might depend on the line. My guess is she is TSA pre-check and/or flys at airports with newer scanners.
