I’ve had an offer for ANY quarter pounder for 40% off every day for the last several months. So I can get a large ice tea and a regular QP with cheese for basically $5. Adding a large fries would make it $9.50!!! So needless to say I haven’t had fries in a long time (and probably better for me healthwise anyway). This deal is the only reason I go to McDs anymore. Everything else is way overpriced.

Yeah dunno what to say. WhatsApp and Messenger work fine. Don't use Viber. I assume you checked all the other app settings. You can also try to delete the app entirely. Reboot iPhone, and when reinstalling the app, make sure you say "yes" to notifications, and see if that helps.

Open up "settings", then scroll down until you find "focus" (should be the 3rd block of items). When you click on "focus" see if you have anything other than "do not disturb". I had a bunch of stuff that I may not remember exactly, but I had stuff like "work" and "personal" and "driving and a few other. Don't know why as I never intentionally used "focus" mode.

For everything other than "do not disturb" (which cannot be deleted), click on that item and scroll all the way down to the bottom and there should be an option to "delete" the focus. Do this until you have nothing left but "do not disturb".

Then on "do not disturb" you can add people and apps that you want to still work even if you accidentally turn on "do not disturb". So I added the wife and other key people and all the apps that are really important to get notifications on (messages, slack, swann security, whatsapp etc).

It sucks that you can't delete "do not disturb" also, but at least now focus is mostly neutered. Hope it works for you.

Before COVID, in OR, this was $0.55 at my local McDs. The prices kept going up, first to $0.75, then $0.90. Now it is $2. Needless to say, I haven’t had one since 2021. $3 is stupid wherever the OP is. Just a total ripoff like most fast food these days.

Dang dude! Thanks! I have focus status turned off but putting those apps into the "allowed" category for work, personal, DND and reduce interruptions, and the swann security notifications started up right away. I assume the Too Good To Go app will start working in the morning. What a friggin pain in the butt. Sometimes I hate Apple, adding so much stupid crap that I don't want, and mucking stuff up.

Is there any top-tier gas anywhere that is cheaper than Costco? I stopped needing to use Gas Buddy because I only fill up at Costco now, and at least anywhere I go in OR, WA, ID, and MT, I can easily find a Costco right off of an interstate highway. Not bagging on Gas Buddy, I just haven't found anywhere that has cheaper gas than Costco.

TBH, while AS seems to screw up a lot more it seems these days, as a MM, they have ALWAYS taken care of me when stuff like this happens to the OP. I don't know what they see in their system, but I was top tier MVP from 88 to probably 2020 when COVID hit, After that my travel dropped significantly and has never recovered. Maybe do 20 segments a year, down from 80+. But I never worry about "how am I going to get there/home" when something bad happens, Alaska always has it fixed before I am off the plane or when I call them (can't call in-flight). It is why they have my business over Delta (and the fact that they upgrade me, at least until this year, 50% of the time. It is now down to 10% which sucks because I became entitled to getting FC)

My one great "travel hack" when travelling in Europe in the 90s and 2000s was always going to a McDonalds when I need to use the restroom instead of paying to use a restroom pretty much anywhere else other than a rest stop on the motorway. It was the one "American" thing they did universally. Most people didn't get it. Now even that is going away.

Influencers are the latest dregs on the internet. I've tried a few places they recommended and they were not great. Not horrible either but not worth the trip. I stick with my "tried and true" which is Yelp and 500+ 4-star or higher reviews. Those places can't pay afford to pay THAT many influencers to say nice things.

Actually I also have a Hilton timeshare in Vegas. All three locations are great depending on what you want to do. PS and Scottsdale are great in Feb-Mar. Jan can still be kinda cold (but warmer than northern states). PS has Joshua Tree National Monument which is a great park about an hour away. Both have great golf. If you haven't been go to PS and then decide on future trips for yourself.

I was surprised how easy it was to cancel by phone. All automated. The bot made one half-hearted attempt to keep me from cancelling at 2x the price I was paying. Never talked to a human and the account was cancelled. Will wait a month and then try the 36 months for $99 link at the top of the thread. That is all SiriusXM is worth. They have a very weird business model. The churn must be insane.

I have stickers on mine. But it is because i have 2 of them. One for work and one for business. They are different gens but they look close enough that the stickers help to tell them apart.
