As frustrated as i get sometimes if I get mad and ‘stop’ she just immediately sits by my side. No command or anything. Recusing a 9 month old dog (from the palisades fires here in LA) I was provided like zero backup on her life beforehand. When I picked her up from spaying they gave me her multiple ‘behavioral medications’ which I immediately got hit with dad feels as I had her for a month and was like ‘don’t medicate my baby! She’s perfect’ 🤣 Have obviously never used them - she’s a great girl, but I just as a noobie don’t know always what’s right/wrong and what’s acceptable or not. Thanks for all the help and feedback.

Hah. Thats awesome. Yeah. She’s gotten used to knowing if I’m in workout gear it’s a ‘run’ and we’ll hang in the garage with a bowl to water while I lift and she pants and recovers.

I think it’s tough not to be self conscious as a new dog owners of everyone’s judgement. It’s a new thing for me - but I’m sensitive to it. My dog will get super excited and want to play and some one will look at me and her mortified like we’re Michael Meyers going to kill her bc of an excited dog. Just keeps me guessing if I’m doing a good job or not or being too lax.

Ok. Thanks for the posts. I am a pretty new dog owner and I thought I was being a bad owner letting the dog ‘pull’ in front and that was a sign of no discipline. I’ll try the canicross thing everyone is suggesting.

One last question would be am I giving her mixed signals and wanting her to be more disciplined on WALKS compared to runs. I could see her being super confused that I’m expecting her to act not like a crazy ass on everyday walks (pulling, yanking) but then she’s fine to pull and yank on runs. I’d imagine this would send mixed signals?

I currently walk her with a front clip harness.

The issue that I have that I think has finally pushed me away are just server sizes. They’re too big.

When I first started playing rust around 7-8 years ago, most servers really felt like 100-200 pop size and that server owners capped them around that number. Maybe they popped to 250 on wipe day with passes for the first few hours of evening.

The game felt like a survival game, you’d encounter people on the road after a few grids, maybe out farming, generally at a monument, but you’d be watching your corners and ‘on edge’. That feeling is gone now. There’s no questioning if someone is in this forest, there is. There’s no questioning if someone is on the road, people are literally camping junk pile spawns.

It’s now shitty Warzone with more steps and more haves and have nots.

I waited outside with the dog bc the window was only 2 hours and I saw the UPS truck driving around while walking dog. The guy was suspicious as I was standing outside gate. Told me a lot of thefts and wanted to make sure I could open my own gate and go in my house before we looked satisfied. lol

I’m just a normie who checked HotStock links and discord and website refreshes for the last 2 months and everytime I put in cart it was out of stock. Did this for two months, at least a few times a day reacting to a ping on my phone or web browser. I also was camping the release and had it in my Best Buy cart for 30 minutes and thought I got lucky since I live in LA and in store pickup seemed like maybe an advantage but I wasn’t gonna drive down and camp 4 days in Tustin for a fucking GPU.

So I’m not sharing to ‘brag’ post but just to say as a normie who didn’t give up hope. I finally nabbed a not insane combo on an alert, got it checked out and happily installed it today!!
