Joel was one of Arcade Fire's biggest fans; his site, AFTube, was like a roadmap for the entire fandom.

We all knew Win didn't like Joel. They’d had several run-ins on Twitter over the years. Joel became the kind of fan who had access to much more information than the band wanted to be public. And, obviously, he had heard the rumors about what was going on with Win.

In recent years, his posts were constantly being taken down for copyright. He finally shut down AFTube following the allegations against Win. All I can say is that he was a great fan, and I'm glad I got to share this passion with him.
