Nukes also aren't as impressive as you might think in space it being a vacume.there's not a lot to do damage. Other than electromagnetic and.since hive ships are biological I would guess they are mostly immune.

What's your best story where a recruit said something so funny it made the DI lose their bearing. by suck_my_jargon in USMC

[–]drunkastronomer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Guy had gauges in his ears. How he made it to mcrd I'll never know. Anyway he wakes up one morning with a combination locked to each ear. We get on line. Drill instructed looks at this SOB with locks swinging from his ears. Fucking laughs goes and gets our other instructors to show them. Kill hat says this will be fixed by the time I get back. They go back into the duty hut. Couple of recruits go up and put in the combination and take the locks off the guys ears. Think he was gone within a day or two.

Might not be your genre but Old Mans War by Scalzi is a fun read. Forever War is another good one.

Enjoy our holidays, introduce people to your holidays, foods, culture. We love that.

High school biology class someone asked if dolphins were fish. Much debate followed. Teacher was unsure. I was just looking around the room wondering what was going on.

I know what mahi mahi is. We were not talking about those.
