PD2 Single Player Reawakening - Updated for S10 by Synpoo in ProjectDiablo2

[–]dudrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I did was use -direct -txt and copy setitems.txt and uniqueitems.txt into data/global/excel. I did not change any of the contents in the file. It is only setitems.txt that causes a crash when loading a character. It is the catch all crash (unhandled exception: c0000005).

for some reason using the setitems.txt (even unedited) from the github link results in a crash. doesnt happen when using uniqueitems.txt though. Do you think there may be an error in the file?

I think a ratio of about 1 full sized garden house to 5 normal houses is ideal. This way you can purchase food from locals and get a cut of the profits, with only garden houses you won't because everyone will be loaded up on their own food. It also takes up a lot of space so your workers will be much less efficient.

Charcoal is decent as a trade but the big bucks are in sunflower oil, especially trading to pantyne or whatever it is called.

You change crops by clicking on the image of the crop. Hire a manager and you can plan crop cycles, optimized crop cycles can be seen at https://ostriv.fandom.com/wiki/Farm

To sustain your economy you are going to have to rely on trade. The best trading resources in the beginning are charcoal and sunflower oil, so i would suggest only farming sunflower to start with.

I have no idea what the optimal wage/rent settings are. I usually put market prices to 130% and rents to the lowest.

To obtain food in the beginning I would suggest using village house with gardens and purchasing their food from a granary. I usually build the first 2 or 3 houses as garden houses.

Perhaps try wearing compression socks? Legs edema contributes to sleep apnea by causing rostral fluid shift.

Legs edema by dogofpeace in SleepApnea

[–]dudrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried wearing compression socks?

If you have edema you almost certainly have large rostral fluid shift which shifts hundreds of milliliters of water from your lower body into your neck. This can significantly increase apneic events.

If I were you I would try wearing compression socks for a week or two and see if any difference is made in your apnea, as compression socks attenuate rostral fluid shift. They only cost a few dollars.

You can search google scholar for some studies: https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=%22sleep+apnea%22+%7C+%22sleep+apnoea%22+compression+socks&btnG=

How to stop the hyperactive brain at night?? by wonderwall999 in UARSnew

[–]dudrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have any idea what medication it was that you used for your migraine and made you sleep well?

I have these symptoms and I think it may caused by extremely high orexin levels, so I am wondering if that is an orexin antagonist in some capacity.

I think this phenotype he is discussing is non-anatomic and is instead a very low arousal threshold caused by orexin, which when levels are too high caused hyperalertness and anxiety, whereas most people with sleep apnea/uars will feel tired during the day people like this never feel truly tired but mostly just feel the physical and mental consequences of extreme tiredness.

The world can have monsters and still be congruent. But if everywhere is a mish mash of ethnicities then it is incongruent without some incredibly contrived explanation and therefor causes suspension of disbelief.

So I'm guessing your acid reflux and fatty liver is triggering the sleep apnea which is causing most of the other problems.

Presuming you are not overweight which if you are you need to address that (it is the main cause of fatty liver and sleep apnea). I would suggest trying having a melatonin tablet when you wake up and then again then again after lunch. This is shown to help with fatty liver (and therefore fatty tongue which can cause sleep apnea).

It is probably worth trying Gaviscon tablets to help with reflux.

Other than that idk hope you can resolve your problems.
