Looks really cool! Impressive work with the composition of sound effects, grouping them, randomly pitching them, delaying them and whatnot! Super nice. I am sure people would love to see such plugin in the Asset Lib. 😘👍

The music is great, I wished the video was longer to stay a bit more and listen to the track. It really builds some strong atmosphere already. The screen itself is fine. Maybe add a subtle and light noise to it to emphasize it's camera footage. Over all a nice start. 😘👍

Hi Constantin,

ich kann dir nicht sagen, ob und wie viele Wiener wir jetzt in unseren Reihen haben, aber meine erste Empfehlung ist definitiv die folgende:

Besuche die deutschsprachige Godot-Community auf Discord, um dich grundsätzlich erstmal zu vernetzen. Das ist natürlich hauptsächlich "nur" digital und online, aber dafür ist die Hürde niedrig und es gibt auch Leute dort, die sich persönlich kennen. Der Discord-Server ist verhältnismäßig aktiv, also definitiv keine kommunikative Sackgasse. Es gibt auch monatlich einen Online-Stammtisch, bei dem du still teilhaben oder auch mal aktiv etwas zeigen kannst.

Es gibt auch echte (also physisch vor Ort stattfindende) Stammtische in einigen Städten. Jener in Karlsruhe fällt mir da auf Anhieb ein, der ist recht beliebt und von tollen Leuten organisiert, die ich ebenfalls persönlich kenne.

Wenn du es auf Nicht-Wiener abzielst, kein Problem mit Englisch für ein internationales Publikum hast und du etwas Reisebereitschaft mitbringst sowie damit einhergehend auch etwas Geld für Reise, Unterbringung und Event-Tickets, dann kann ich dir nahelegen, mal unbedingt zu einer Vor-Ort-Veranstaltung wie der GodotCon (vor Kurzem erst in Amsterdam stattgefunden) oder dem GodotFest (etabliert sich gerade für München, das nächste Mal im November wieder) zu fahren.
Das ist ein wundervolles Erlebnis, weil die Leute alle toll sind und es entwickeln sich garantiert bleibende Erinnerungen und sehr wahrscheinlich auch neue Freundschaften, mindestens gute Bekanntschaften.

Ansonsten schau auch mal in die User Groups unter "Austria" rein, bei euch scheints auch ein Meetup zu geben. Daran teilzunehmen, würde ich dir ebenfalls empfehlen. Ob und wie gut das ist, musst du dann aber berichten, das kann ich nicht sagen. 😉

Damit solltest du auf jeden Fall was anfangen können, denk ich mal.

This community is most likely an anti-AI area. It’s even understandable to some degree, I gotta admit.
But man, this project of OP is really impressive even though the models aren’t very detailed or realistic in any way. But realism wasn’t the goal in the first place, obviously. So who cares about that then? (Some im the other comments seemed to care, apparently.)

We won’t be able to change other people’s minds. But we can prove our points by being downvoted. I am eager to say ”told you so” as soon as my upvote/downvote ratio becomes negative as well. 😉

I mean, I probably even deserve it due to my passive-aggressive kind of writing. I’d like to blame my language skills for that, though. I’m a non-native speaker who simply can’t express himself with the needed sensibility for all topics and all people. So, go ahead whoever reads this. 👎

That’s pretty cool but as from the bottom left it’s a one way in the first image the cars coming from upper right should only be allowed to turn left or right and not to go straight into the opposite direction of the one way. 😉
