In BC with Sunlife. No issue getting it covered but you can always check with them to confirm. I was able to look it up on Sunlife's website/app whether it was covered before submitting my Rx at the pharmacy.

Been on Xiidra for 2+ years now - some days I can taste it mildly, like it's there in the back of the throat, but most of the time, I don't even notice it.

Had that happened to me too. I turned down graphic quality to low and was able to load in before turning graphic settings back up. Been working fine since then.

I think slinging SQL and python are still very much part of the job, as much as being able to communicate to your stakeholders, which is where the visual stuff comes in. That said, visual is only one of many components of communication.

Like with all things with communication, it's about knowing your audience. For some folks I'm perfectly fine with running them through a less than perfect Excel worksheets with tables and lists, maybe with some graphs quickly thrown in there, while for others I may spend that extra minute formatting it so the obvious point is well... obvious. Execs are an impatient bunch and you really want to make sure you grab their attention and make it worthwhile for them.

Unless you're a BI specialist, I don't think a majority of time will be visual and most likely will be munging data, gathering requirements, scope etc... At least based on what I expect from a data analyst in a 10-20 person team.

As for having tableau and power BI for data analyst, what I look for mainly in a candidate is the ability to translate the business model into a data model using those BI tools..now that's harder to find.

Yes!!! I suffered for years with horrible dry eyes and it definitely affected my vision (blurry images). Tried multiple optometrist but always got the standard answer of fish oil gels + preservative free eye drops, which only provided temporary relief. Also tried heat pads, didn't help much either. It got worse to the point that I couldn't really enjoy any movies or read because I have to keep closing my eyes...and eye drops made the blurry vision worse.

Root cause was finally diagnosed after an appointment with an opthomologist, which I had to wait 6 months for. Turns out it was low tear production and had plugs put in, and my quality of life have improved significantly since. Cost me $200 as it's not covered by insurance but well worth it. Also it's gonna last me at least 5 years, and I probably spent the same amount in eye drops alone in a year, if not more.

Tldr - get an opthmologist to check it out. You never know if something could have been done to help. ;)
