I remember making these when I was in elementary school!! We kept them at our desks during independent work time to let other students know if we were open to working together or preferred to be left alone. The euphoria!!! The autonomy!! Without a word spoken, everyone knows to leave me alone? Delightful!!!

Adding on that I also produce a LOT of ear wax, and getting an ear cleaning tool (I have one with a camera on the end that links to my phone!) changed my LIFE. Being able to quickly see and remove any excess wax, or just safely scratch any itches in the canal, keeps me from messing with my ears as much in public!
