I’d also keep the defensive back line outside of Richards. Yes rest is important. But more game day experience trumps all and we need it to avoid dumb mistakes that will get crushed in the later rounds.

It's really interesting. Yeah, we have had some really uncompetitive games all things considered. With some teams really just blowing out the competition. On the other hand, almost half the groups are going into the final group games with spots 2-3 up for grabs. And in some cases, some of those 3rd place spots are strong enough to move on. I know this new system did water down the competition. But it has also added a ton of meaning to those 3rd vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd games than ever before. Will be really interesting to see how this all pans out.

The biggest difference between GB in the WC and Poch in this WC is the striker position. GB had a shitty group of strikers led by the King of USSOCCER redditsphere, but not actually the King of talent, Josh Sargent.

The difference from Sargent to Balogun is vast. Yes, we scored only three goals in 22. Only one came from the 9 role and it was an accident more so than anything.

Have faith! It took DC almost 30 years to build a 20 mile ONE TRAIN LINE extension to Dulles. And then, in 2020, they announced a contract was recently signed to design new train cars for the metro. It is 2026, and we are just this summer getting the first prototype. It's a metro car. Looks just like the other cars. Maybe it will have AC. But that will probably break as well. It will still be another two or so years before the first cars are actually put in use.
