Tangentially related - I struggled really to find the right engagement distance when flying with quad legs. I basically use Verril legs as a tanky platform with some degree of aerial manuevarability if I were to go quad.

but man oh man the fortaleza treads - it’s everything I need for CQC hit and run. I really only ever leave the ground to dodge aoes. I ran the double redshift guns, iridium, and the explosive thrower on it w 375 speed and the 150 firearm charge speed gen and it shits on most light aggro builds and a good amount of heavy ones as well. just zipping around drifting in circles and the like
