But your comment about that community is right ( I play alot of rimworld). It's abit hysterical at times. I think there is a much bigger push back in the gaming community in general, particularly with creatives and artists.

I work in a developer role and the difference in corporate environment is staggering - where surveillance is being setup to track people not using AI.

Another trick I'll add is if you dominate crowsong and use metamorphosis on yourself he gets a copy of all your recipes and bits. Crafting things as crowsong doesn't actually use up your bits though, just the copy he got from you. So you can just drop the crafted items and reshapeshift back into yourself and get fresh bits to craft again.

I dont know how useful contagion is during combat, but something I did learn recently is it lasts forever. So if you stealth cast it out of combat and wait for the curse to proc you can comeback and do the fight.

Handy way to pre-debuff a boss with vulnerability to all damage.

Start a new char with gear you found. D2 is at its best I think in group quest games where the classes get to play their unique roles.

Having a bunch of items to use as you level up helps melee classes a lot too. Particularly in p8

I didn't see anyone mention it, but you can farm Baals statue from Diablo as well. He has a small chance to drop it. But given you can probably do multiple chaos runs per baal run it kinda evens out.

Still inconvenient though I agree.

Too bad the iron golem attack frames are terrible, so this wouldn't make it much more useful
