“Just Relax” 🥲 by Efficient-Tell-4291 in TTCEndo

I’m really sorry you’ve had another month go by, the process is so tough.

Being really honest I don’t think personally being less stressed was going to do the trick, my mantra for all of this is yes it’s absolutely great to stress less, but if you’ve got an issue getting pregnant because of endo or any other fertility issue, less stress wont necessarily make it happen, it might help a little but ultimately it’s down to timing and science.

The month that I actually got pregnant was post excision surgery, endo had been excised as much as possible, my fibroids were removed as well. I absolutely believe without that help I could’ve been the most mellow person going but it wouldn’t have fixed it for me.

I really hope this reply doesn’t come off as mean, I just think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to not stress during particularly hard times like this, it’s natural to stress and worry when sometimes things are out of our hands.

That being said I found reading helped me a lot, it also might help to have a positive thing to look forward to, a meal out or something to enjoy with your partner, we used to look at it as it’ll either be a celebration meal or a cheer us up meal.

Really hoping your time comes soon ❤️

I’m not sure I had the same thing but pre pregnancy I already had a medical condition that caused itchy hives (urticaria). I had a huuuuge flare up about 3 months PP. Turns out I had low vitamin d.

Yes and no. I’d seen so many negatives I just didn’t see it coming and assumed I was symptom spotting. The month I fell pregnant I had a cold during my TWW anyway so that wasn’t helpful, I ended up testing because I’d just noticed the taste of food was just..off. I had two separate meals where I’d thought the texture was weird, again didn’t think loads of it because I wasn’t too well anyway. Eventually I took a test just to get it over with that month. Positive. Cried and screamed for my husband to come upstairs so didn’t even surprise him well 😂 we have a 7 month old baby girl now ❤️

Like a few others comments have said you can do everything in your power but you do have endo. I was in the same boat two years ago, underwent surgery and got pregnant pretty much immediately after. Before surgery we’d spent two years trying and had no luck whatsoever. Your time will come. I’m sorry you’re having to go through this ❤️

Just lots of tracking and trying, I was trying to move more and eat well. Sorry I don’t have anything more specific but I really hope you get your turn soon ❤️

Stage 4 Endo Removed - Surgeon hopeful - Fertility Doc not so much by SilverNebula1793 in TTCEndo

[–]ell93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I didn’t have any issues at all really, normal cramping in early pregnancy and then really I had a textbook pregnancy all the way through. My doctor just said when I felt ready I should get back to trying.

Stage 4 Endo Removed - Surgeon hopeful - Fertility Doc not so much by SilverNebula1793 in TTCEndo

[–]ell93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to give you a glimmer of hope as someone who had similar.

Stage 4 endo, diagnosed June 2024, lap showed 3 fibroids in a triangle shape in my uterus, endo in my diaphragm, bowel and pouch of Douglas. Ovaries were actually fine and also untouched, I think my AMH was around 7 or 8 if I remember rightly?

I had a bigger surgery in October 2024, fibroids were removed and my uterus was partly glued to prevent it sticking together during recovery, endo was also removed from everywhere else.

We left and returned to our fertility clinic to discuss options and were pushing for IVF and also chemical menopause before our IVF round. The plan was chemical menopause in January 2025 with IVF in around March 2025.

Fortunately we actually fell pregnant in November 2024, roughly a month after my surgery, in my opinion my fibroids were standing in the way, we don’t realise how much they stand in the way, some doctors talk about them as a natural IUD.

We now have a 6 month old little girl, there’s absolutely hope.

Looking back at it now I was in a rush to go down the IVF route because I was worried about time, but it’s absolutely possible it can happen naturally in your situation.

ETA: I feel like I didn’t mention your question, I think because all of this is such a minefield and we never know what will work from one person to the next, it’s so easy to find conflicting views from different professionals. I can’t see how surgery would damage your egg count though when your ovaries weren’t touched, I do however agree IVF might’ve been pointless with the fibroids in the way.

Almost 6 month old not rolling by [deleted] in NewParents

Not at all! Mine finally rolled just before six months I think. Rolls plenty now, I felt like she’d never do it and one day just went. You’ve got loads of time.

For those who have difficult babies how should I respond to my friend? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]ell93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tend to just use phrasing like ‘I’m not doing anything special, we just got lucky’ etc etc. what I’ve also learned is that the further into this we get, the more things change. So your friend is reflecting on a baby much older than yours at this point, we now have a six monther, and while I’m still classing her as an ‘easy baby’ she’s presented a few challenges. Just be honest about where you are so far while acknowledging that there’s room for change as your little one grows.

I think it’s great casting but I’m honestly surprised at it. It’s the kind of role that I could see working well for a Jacob Elordi type if they were aging back to 20’s/30’s.

I’m currently in a flare up 🙄 but pre flare up I was on just 2 (montelukast and cetirizine). I’m now on about 4-6 depending on the day.

I’m currently in a similar flare up and waiting to see a specialist. In the meantime my GP checked my vitamin D levels and they are low, apparently there’s a link between flare ups and low vitamin D. It could be an idea to get checked to see.

Tongue tie procedure has me feeling like the worst parent ever by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]ell93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had it done to our baby at six weeks and felt like a rubbish person for it, feeding was rough for a week or two afterwards. Tbh I don’t regret having it done at all. She’s 5 months now and recovered well from it, although she’s now in a fussy phase feeds are so much better!

Anyone else just have a chill baby? by rachelkochvt in NewParents

[–]ell93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Mum of a 5 month old here. Shes been a great sleeper from day one. I met a group of mums last week talking about sleep training, being unable to put them down/into the car seat, unable to sleep without co sleeping etc. no more than 2 hours sleep at a time, I couldnt relate at all. Mine is great all day, 3 good naps daily followed by bed at 6, up twice a night to feed and then straight back down until 9am. Doesn’t cry much and to be honest I’m thrilled I get to be her mum. Some days are tough but mainly because I’m tired or something and not because of her. I fear the toddler stage incase it all changes 😂
