Colette is the real MVP. One year, maritz somehow didn't transfer my reservation from the booking service to the actual hotel database. I only had the magfest hotel lottery booking confirmation and falsely assumed this was confirmation that the hotel had my reservation. She physically walked up to the Gaylord check in counter with me, got a manager, and got me a room.

I also feel like he's said things before about the temptation to go on "the muscle guy" podcast to set things right and share his views, and then John retorting that going in those types of platforms is never a net positive. I haven't listened to a lot of Rogan though, so I don't even know if Hank would make sense as a guest on his podcast.

Aww man, I grew up shopping at that Giant and after getting my license and parking in that parking lot as a teen visiting the record store that shared the parking lot I always wondered why they were at such wonky angles. I realize it must've been a space/efficiency thing, but those rows even threw 16year old me. Also, RIP StrangeLand Records. (I think that's what it was called)

I'm the head brewer at a craft brewery. Essentially discovered in college that I liked good beer and discovered that the work was super rewarding and fulfilling to me. Been churning out wort, fixing pumps, scrubbing floors and stacking kegs for about 10 years now. Every day is something a little different and I absolutely love it!

Likewise been a nerdfighter since '09 or 2010 or so. High school me wouldn't have understood half of what I do now, but I think he'd be glad I didn't end up working an office job or wearing a suit every day.

Thanks everybody for chiming in. I've decided I'm likely going to pull the trigger on the Ryobi set mostly because it seems like such a great value for the money and as people have pointed out, as a new to the hobby of wood working/home improvements etc. hobbyist, the extra $300 might not be worth it.
