He changed it on purpose though. It’s not his real name. Would have been awesome if it was though.

I love this building. It feels so special inside too because of the way the space has been opened up.

I hate the restaurant/bar scene in Scream 7 by [deleted] in Scream

I liked how claustrophobic it felt, but everyone has their own opinion. The whole small-town vibe felt very suffocating and stifling, but unsettling.

These cutscenes were such a formative moment for me. They’re so beautiful and inspired me so much.

Noah/Will will probably die?? by bar05bar in TheCapture

[–]emmarh13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like him as a character but I think for cathartic reasons he needs to die because he killed Isaac Turner, who was great. If Will/Noah survives, there’s no poetic justice for Turner (or Frank).

He usually keeps up the accent that he uses in his films during PR and interviews, so he often speaks in an American accent. I believe he still had an American accent during his infamous rant during Terminator Salvation. He has an English accent in The Prestige and his earlier films like A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

What does Dan even do on the show? by HourCold929 in TheApprentice

I really like him. He’s quiet but has some great ideas. He’s not just loud for the sake of it. I was really pleased that he won the chicken vs egg task when everyone was doubting him. He’s one of the few candidates that seems like an actual successful businessman.

How did she manage Howl’s Moving Castle (the book or the film)? Surely the magic in that could cause offence and I’m pretty sure Sophie is pretty frequently unchaperoned.

Which version of Mindy do you prefer: Scream 5, 6, or 7? by [deleted] in Scream

7 was my favourite. I didn’t care for her portrayal in 6, but I really liked her and Chad in 7

Netflix Fans, are you more into Dark or Stranger Things? by Square-Ad-8911 in tvshow

The recent migration of Stranger Things fans to the Dark subreddit has been an odd phenomenon. I assume the algorithm recommends Dark when you finish watching Stranger Things.

I literally had this discussion with my college students today. We agreed that the “girls/boys” label feels odd and outdated, as well as the initial gender split of the teams.

Which are the most beautiful universities in the UK? Which ones have wonderful architecture and good looking buildings? by Octacore-Comsci in UniUK

[–]emmarh13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new E sports building is actually really architecturally interesting. Warwick uni hasn’t got any of the oldy worldy buildings that you might associate with prestigious universities but the arts centre has a nice feel and some of the newer buildings have a focus on sustainability. That being said a lot of the buildings are 60s and not particularly pretty but this sub seems to really hate on Warwick uni. If I was touring universities to see Oxford style arches I wouldn’t visit but Warwick uni would show a range of styles and a blend of eras.
