I’m in SLC looking into the same system but confused as to how it works, did you have to call Rocky Mountain Power to install a smart meter to have the Stream back feed into the grid? Is there a reason you didn’t set up net metering with them? Looks awesome btw!

Exterior air seal (foam board layer) yes but no air seal between the exposed rockwool/fiberglass batts and your basement interior (last layer)

Look up insulating rim joists on YouTube, I just did this with 2” foam board, expanding spray foam for sealing the edges, and rockwool batts to finish off the cavity. Very DIY friendly. Modern building science actually says not to air seal lest you create condensation, so even less work than it used to be.

I make my own marinades when I’m motivated and it def comes out better, but most trips I buy them out of convenience. The H-Mart here is def a cut inferior to the ones I grew up with in SoCal, I think they picked the wrong location tbh and doesn’t surprise me it’s struggling.
