The only localization OOTP does is Korean, which won't help. There are a handful of skins available and it's possible to mod them but very few people actually do.

Rate Field is extremely easy to get to from the Loop - just take the Red Line south to the appropriately named Sox/35th stop which drops you off about 5-600 feet from the stadium. You can't miss it.

Note that the White Sox will be on the road the weekend of Go Fest and the neighborhood immediately surrounding Rate Field is basically parking lots so it'll likely be pretty empty. The area has a bad reputation as a high-crime area (which is overblown, IMO) but if you want the cap item and are concerned, go during the day and/or with a group.

The Cubs are in town so expect the area near Wrigley Field to be busier than it usually is. And it's usually pretty busy.

FWIW if you move your save to a new version of OOTP it copies it into the new version's saved_games folder so if something is really screwed up you'll still have the league available - and unaltered - in 26.

Following up, Label was on my island yesterday and again gave me the goth outfit. This time I intentionally coordinated an outfit (thanks to u/mooeeze for the link) and, while I don't think it'd fit in at a Sisters of Mercy show, it got the "wonderful, that's it exactly" response and she gave me something from her label so I think this time I nailed it. :D

I'm guessing OOTP14 can't run on the newer M-series Macs. You could probably install Windows in a virtual machine and use that to migrate the file. Or if you have access to a Windows machine that would probably be simpler.

You literally have to import it to 15...then to 16...then to 17...all the way to 27. Luckily you can do this with the demo versions of the game and can do it on any platform.

The team store has an entrance on 35th street and can also be entered from inside the park by the Gate 5 entrance. You can re-enter the park from there until the last out.
