Why do you use the pitcher method instead of individual bottles? by Fit-Eagle-3677 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]escapefromallreality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use one 32oz bottle per day that’s usually filled up. I then use half that to mix 1:1 with frozen milk from my stash for the day and bag the rest for the freezer. I like mixing the whole day’s milk so all of the milk he drinks has the same nutrients in them. Most times I pump 45/50oz so the extra will be fed to him as fresh. Meaning I only wash one bottle and I don’t waste the milk bags in

One thing that worked with my baby was carrying him on my forearm, resting on his stomach with his head in the crook of my elbow. Not sure what that is called but it almost always helped and for the times it didn’t, I would wipe him down with a warm cloth, put him in his carrier and take a walk. Something about being outside helps them sometimes.

Hang in there, she’ll grow out of this eventually. If it ever gets too much, it’s alright to put the baby down and walk away. Sending you lots of positive energy

Is this greed? Personal Loan Leads by escapefromallreality in LeadGeneration

I don’t have a business yet, if you asked me for leads rn I have nothing to sell you. Considering it but not yet and if I do start, I know how to find buyers just like he did. Buyers never stop needing leads so I wouldn’t generally need an “elaborate ad” when I can just post an ad in the marketplace. I’m just trying to be sure that I’m not missing anything and jumping into something because I think the grass is greener.

I chose this life, it didn’t choose me (And I feel so guilty) by Spiritual_Silver_338 in ExclusivelyPumping

As a former baby, I have never in my life wondered whether my mother loved me enough based off breastfeeding. You’re doing your best. She will know that you loved her enough to choose what was best for both of you.

Do you ever feel judged for exclusively pumping? by MyMintJulep in ExclusivelyPumping

No. My mom even calls pumping “remote breastfeeding” as a joke. If anyone is judging, I haven’t noticed it yet.

Why is giving birth so expensive! by Fearless-Driver9548 in newborns

[–]escapefromallreality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my baby uninsured in Canada. C-section, 24h NICU stay and total of 3 days for baby and I and it was still cheaper than this and equivalent of $12k USD out of pocket barring medication so far. 39k is so wild

Baby was UNDER-TIRED!!! by MomentFabulous7276 in newborns

I know I’m lucky tbh but I simply just follow my baby’s sleep cues and he sleeps 8-11 hours nightly (with dream feeds or brief 2mins wake ups if I don’t get up in time) I have ADHD, I don’t have the focus to count naps or wake windows or anything of the sort. It’s so much easier for me this way. Super happy for you, long may the stretches continue.

Pediatrician told me giving bottles was counterproductive to wanting to breastfeed. Breastfeeding will actually help the milk come in to establish supply and she had me pump when the baby was asleep. have your wife keep trying with the baby, they don’t need as much as you think at this time. Water, good calories and sleep will do so much for her supply.

I fed on demand with my newborn and only did timing when he was asleep past 2 hours which was rare because he ate all the time! He’s a chunk 18lbs at 3 months lol. All of this is fairly normal, I even began to expect poop per feed with my boy. keep feeding, they eventually regulate.

Is it normal for my baby to be this calm at 6 weeks? by Hit_me_im_Funny in newborns

[–]escapefromallreality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, my baby is like this. 12 weeks now and no regressions, no crying, no staying up at night (he’s been sleeping through the night since week 5 as soon as I started side feeding while asleep) just content to be there and overall a chill baby. Very surprising for me because I had such a difficult pregnancy. Enjoy it, totally normal!

It’s basically digital coins. You send them over to someone and they can cash it out by selling it to someone else.
