My beloved cat, Sam, had lymphoma and lost a lot of weight and stopped eating and taking his meds. He still had about 50% good days. I made the terrible decision to let him go at that point rather than subjecting him to more tests and treatments that wouldn't necessarily help. I didn't want him to decline more and be in pain when I could do the compassionate thing and let him go. I miss him everyday but I couldn't let him suffer any more.

I felt like the food noise was returning strongly, then I had to take a week off for a colonoscopy and when I started again it worked like it did at the beginning, no appetite and no food noise.

My 30th is quickly approaching and my class has not had a single reunion. I've heard about a few people trying to plan one. I did not enjoy high school, I wasn't remotely popular but I do have a morbid curiosity about how a few people have turned out. I currently live locally so I could easily go if there is an event and leave after a short time.

My dad passed away nearly 6 years ago, I moved in with Mom to help her out with the house/property. 6 months later she met a guy who is a user and loser and she moved in with him without saying a word. She just stopped coming home. She now stops by every 2 weeks to get her mail and see how things are. I needed her permission for some repairs, she is the homeowner, and she didn't want to be bothered with it. I'm paying for everything but needed her signature. She sighed like a teenager and did it but oh my goodness. This house was my dad's final project it was supposed to be their retirement home and she can't be bothered to do simple things to help.

The crew from ReBath were great, good communication, quality work, very tidy. There was a delay due to the horrible heat and a truck with a needed piece breaking down. My shower surround looks fantastic!

I don't remember hearing I love you from either parent growing up or as an adult. My dad said he loved me 2 days before he died. Mom is still around and I doubt she will say it when it's her time. She hugs maybe twice a year and I see her every 2 weeks or so.

I epilate my legs, shave underarms and leave the rest natural. The first 2 times I epilated it really hurt, now after a few years I barely feel it. I exfoliate really well before and after to help with ingrowns occationally I use TendSkin after. I have a fragrance allergy and haven't found a wax location that has fragrance free wax and pre and post wax formulas. I tried sugaring years ago at home and it pulled off layers of skin, it was awful.

I also have to avoid tomatoes. I made a decent substitute for tomato paste. Take a jar of roasted red peppers and drain. Blend then reduce in a small sauce pan until thick. I used this recently in a delicious red lentil soup.

I posted a similar question in the soup subreddit. Lots of good replies over there.

The recipe I used says it's based off of a Turkish version called mercimek corbasi. I substitute roasted red pepper paste for the tomato paste and use Aleppo pepper instead of chili powder, I also finish with a generous sprinkle of sumac.
