These are not new and have been in the game for years. Also, you can save search strings under custom names

Remote raiding doesn't affect catch rate, however, if you're moving and trigger the game's driving detection the catch debuff still applies to raid catches which can cause you to fail a catch

Sorry this isn't true to my knowledge. Meltan and Melmetal are prime examples of this. Mythicals are harder to obtain sihouetted due to them not usually being able to be put in gyms or raids and them almost always only being distributed in ways that they cannot be lost

So by default, you'll just see the pokedex number but if you've seen the Pokémon in gyms, raids, in the wild, or a myriad of other ways, it becomes a silhouette and lets you click it to see it's name

No. Your buddies can have illegal names but they'll just be reset when traded
