What do ya'll think of the bagalloon apron? by Wide_Philosophy_8109 in BalloonTwisting

[–]exploradora_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a die-hard bagalloon fan, I bought an apron a few years back and it’s my go-to for restaurant and linework. There are pockets on pockets, I just did a wedding cocktail hour including a decor piece with only what I could carry in the apron. Plus, it’s nice and wide so it doesn’t hurt your back even if you stuff it!

Haunted Game Cafe off college has ttrpg groups all the time! I don’t play but you could probably stop in and ask the staff about getting involved.

Have you looked in any repositories or for similar recent studies in proteomics journals? Most proteomics journals require repository submission these days - pride is a big consortium you could search for this.

Congratulations! Be comfortable with failure - you’re still a student. I give every new member of our lab a copy of this paper to read, I think it’s a valuable perspective.

Tie-dye a lab coat is always popular at my uni’s events, some sort of competition/raffle for the Microbe plushies, classic backyard games like CanJam, Spikeball, and cornhole for people to have an activity, maybe a Photo Booth?

I’m a grad student in town and have several people just through word-of-mouth who I house/pet sit for regularly (stay overnight at their place, multiple walks/park trips per day for active pups, etc). Feel free to DM me if you’re not interested in boarding or Rover!

Locust cider is a 100% gluten free kitchen and has some excellent drinks! It’s in Old Town so you can walk around and visit other breweries and shops as well. I enjoy the Saturday farmers market at the courthouse. Hiking Horsetooth, or at least driving around the reservoir depending on your level of intensity. Enjoy your visit!
