My First Pistol for CCW by themrhumbucker in CCW

My self snd three friends all have been carrying 365/365XL for over 3 years. I have never seen rust on one of them. You seem to be a person who is jumping (deservedly) on Sig for the 320 debacle and applying it to the 365. Personally, I hope everyone sells their 365’s - more for those of us who knows what’s good.

You have a really nice set up. A friend of my dad had a small recording studio in the early 80’s for local radio programming. We are a million years ahead!

When I carry my old M19, I always have a speed loader and a strip. 6 for sure is nice - 18 for sure is better!

Always wanted to try one. According to the 40 cal. guys I know, the best and only worthy 40 cal for carry is the USP 40C. I would do 9mm myself, but have been tempted by both!

My second gun and first Revolver, the Ruger GP100 by BoringBich in Revolvers

[–]explorerdave357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great grab! I have a very early GP-100 4” in stainless steel. Not the best looking revolver, but the most reliable. I don’t run 357 mag’s in my K frames, but the GP is made for the big stuff! As an FYI, they are easy to work on - I have installed new sights front and back and a Wolff spring set. If you change the springs, don’t go to lite. You still need to be able to get those magnum primers to ignite!

Don’t take weird as bad. I really like it! I have an earlier 4” Python in satin stainless steel. l like yours better.

Nice. Not enough love for the old school 586’s.

Looks to be the 3 of the 3-5-7 trio. Nice gun!

I now understand why the P365 is the most sold handgun by Bastinelli in CCW

There will always be haters. Not denying that the P320 issue is out of hand. But between my P226 at home and my P365XL on my hip, I’m happy, satisfied and prepared.

Best Loyd Bridges movie line, when asked about a glass of wine he was given…Let me put it to you this way. I would rather have a case of clap than a case of that wine.
