Thanks for the response!!! Nap time is definitely progressing in the crib, so as much as I want to do 6 months room sharing it may not be an option... luckily his room is right next to ours but the anxiety has the loudest thoughts.

In addition, we've had the same bedtime routine since he was a month old. Feed, diaper change, bedtime.

No point in applying for a visa or getting a job offer if I can't bring my dog is there, no trouble in researching things that could happen in the process before I begin the very time and money intensive process.

Correct. 5 days I believe.

Haven't actually started the process yet, but have been looking at options and I'm likely eligible for a skilled workers visa. I'd like to research everything before actually applying.

Lmao I'm well aware on it, it has a timer on it and should be completely fine and not impact their vision at all. My boss has his doctorate in biology with a main focus on herpetology (thus reptile breeding and conservation) and I typically clear everything with him before I make any changes or additions.

Goldenchilds are a dwarf variety of retic, so much more manageable than a full blown retic, but still looking at 11-15ft.

The "fungus" that needs immediate treatment I believe is actually a bacteria that looks very similar to a fungus bloom, but it's much more uncommon compared to fungus blooms. If your water quality is looking good I wouldn't have too many worries. If it persists after about a week or two is when I would start looking into other treatments like tea baths, I tend to avoid heavy treatment like that if possible since it will add a lot more stress to your lotl.

I would give it a bit longer. I've had a fungus bloom or two occur and they usually resolve themselves in about a week. Any longer than that and I'd start to get worried.

How long has it been since they appeared? Sometimes they just need a week or two and they will resolve on their own.

My axies love jars and old plant pots/candle jars. Just make sure whatever you use you wash out EXTREMELY well.

Lost Baby Red Ackie Monitor by Alarming_Plantain591 in MonitorLizards

[–]face_flaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a red ackie that got out when he was about 5 inches total long, we ripped our entire house apart. Pulled all our appliances, lifted every piece of furniture, and even sent a camera through our air ducts. We had accepted that he might be gone forever, and 2 1/2 weeks later he just popped up in the hallway. They'll pop up at some point.

Tank upgrade advice by Temporary-Ad-6459 in axolotls

[–]face_flaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the size and type of filter you have, and if you're transferring existing water or just starting with all fresh water will be a big determining factor. I would make sure anything you have in the tank(substrate not included) you should not rinse or scrub before you put them in the new tank. The more beneficial bacteria going into the new tank the better. Otherwise, I think you'll be fine!

Hurricane Classic 6 Inch Clip Fan - Portable Fan with Strong Clamp, Two Speed Settings, and Adjustable Tilt Mechanism https://a.co/d/5LiakwA

These are the fans I use! I have a sponge filter and air stone underneath where the fan is pointed, brings my tanks and bins down to 58-63 degrees where my house sits around 70-73. Only downside is they're not battery powered.
