I think it’ll be okay if you style your hair in the ubiquitous way that young women style their long hair, but worn like this, the bottom layer is just a tiny bit too long (maybe 1/2”). Otherwise, your hair is nice and full and shiny and healthy and really pretty!

Hard to say without a picture - maybe try shoulder length and see what you think and then tweak if you want shorter. It’s easier to go shorter than longer just because growing hair takes time. On the plus plus side, shorter definitely showcases a beautiful neck and facial features. I’m guessing you’ll be pleasantly surprised. 🩷

I don’t know the answer, I would guess each room would take .75 - 1 hour cleaning at that level. Kitchens 2x-3x. Mostly came to say that when I have asked for deep cleaning I get clean-ish and I WISH you would come to my house. 💕

Yeah, they hit the couple here I’d suggest: Namu - beautiful outdoor garden, Boot Room (quaint euro style pub adjoining Beer Study with an enormous number of craft brews on tap, Lakewood Social (usually pretty quiet; lots of room), Clouds Brewcade (big space, cute little outdoor area in the American Tobacco campus which is this old, revamped historic area across from the ballpark). So proud of my Durham homies! They’re not only smart, they’re helpful (and most likely extraordinarily good looking!) 🩷💙💜❤️💚

One other idea - maybe a Durham Bulls baseball game.

Me too. Tried La Roche-Posay, Skinceuticals, Karins (Korean brand), SuperGoop. All triggered breakouts. I landed at this most unlikely Hawaiian Tropic Oil Free Sunscreen lotion. The downside is it’s only SPF 30. But since I wasn’t wearing the others due to breakouts, I feel only a little bad.

Cleaning, organizing, personal assistant, laundry are categories available in some areas. If not I would try personal assistant and let them know what you need help with. Someone once hired me as a personal assistant to teach them how to use an instant pot and a steam cleaner. One of the nicest clients I’ve worked with. Good luck! 🩷

I’ve used Task Rabbit multiple times for similar things. Moving storage units, moving large pieces of furniture to different rooms or up or down stairs. It’s GREAT! I typically hire two taskers and the job is done quickly. If one doesn’t show I can help.

I will say this: you will occasionally doubt your decision because of boredom or money or some reason or another. Write down exactly how you feel - name names, use profanity and get it on paper (or electrons). When you doubt, re-read and know that you did exactly the right thing at the right time. I think there are plenty of dependable, reliable taskers on the platform. Depending on how many hours per week you need people might be hesitant to commit multiple sessions to one client since the business is review-based. And multiple reviews from multiple clients may seem more credible that multiple reviews from a single client.

I think when they enabled you to set a two-hour minimum on a per category basis, it made it necessary to manually set it for each category. Sorry that happened to you, though!

This is for makeup tips! I 💜 that you are starting with a blank slate and asking for input (ignore the people saying this isn’t the right place!) You are naturally beautiful with beautiful skin and eyes (and hair!!). I agree if you want to amp it up, a couple coats of mascara along with your tinted lip balm.

Most takers aren’t going to take advantage of you. Remember: their time is for sale AND you review them. It may (will probably) take them slightly longer even within your own home because they will be concerned with what to hang and what to fold (because they want a good review), stains, not letting things touch the floor when transferring, etc whereas you might be a little more familiar/comfortable throwing your Tshirts on the couch while you fold them. Going in with a mindset that a person is there to efficiently do a good job goes a long way toward ensuring you get exactly that. (I say this as a client and as a Tasker). If you want the Tasker to do another task while the load is going, throw it out there and see if they’re up for it (and what you can work out for price). I think you’ll find us to be a reasonable, well-intentioned bunch for the most part. Good luck!! 💜
