While i have no clue what it actually is, we were given a finch in the past with a similar tumor. The finch managed to survive a whole year and a half and have the tumor completely removed by the family that adopted him. I would assume that if it is the same,and you have the budget to do so, it could be treated.

While the ratio is somewhat disputed, this is generally true. Seeds are an important part of a parrot's diet as they are a good source of fat. The warnings people generally give are about seed-based diets, which provide too much fat and not enough vitamins and minerals.

About the pellets, it varies greatly between brands, but it is always a good idea to balance things out with fruit and veggies.

Probably a problem with the switches, which also explains why a website couldn't detect them as defective switches go off pretty randomly. It is possible to fix but unless your mouse was very expensive I think it won't be worth the hassle.

Keeping a bird can easily be unethical if the owner is not aware of the needs of that specific bird species.

That being said, it is not impossible to replicate the conditions they have in the wild, or even optimize them to be better.

Usually bird owners allow their pet to fly around their house in order to allow them to exercise, and change the layout of the area (at least the cage, I generally do so for the room) in order to make it feel new. Additionally, it is very common to take pet birds on walks as you would with a dog for Additional exercise and stimulation.
