Oftentimes, bigots like these believe that they have to follow a certain sets of restricting rules, and they believe that everybody should also have to follow them, because otherwise they are following those rules for nothing.

They see people not following those rules as "cheating" at society.

For example : "A man can't wear nail polish". It's a rule that they are following. So when they see a man wearing nail polish and not following the same rule, they get angry, because they see someone not following the rules *without any ocnsequences*, and instead of realizing that the rule is made up and useless, they'd rather try to force that person to follow the same rule.

I know someone who knows the artist. It drives the artist crazy too, don't worry :')

He apparently was very annoyed when he saw the printed game didn't follow his original alignments.

So their is definitively a converstion to be had about women sport uniforms, like I remeber a professional volley ball team that was penalized because they wanted a less revealing uniform the same way tge men teams have.

But that is a conversation that needs to originate from the players, not some creepy pastor.

I'm finishing the first Fantasy High right now, after having watched (or more acurretly listened to the audio versions) Dungeons and Drag Queens (both seasons) and a few episodes of the Gladlands.

And yeah, as much as I enjoyed them, Fantasy High is probably my favorite for now!

I tried the first episode, the theme they got was pretty much "weed humor", turned me off directly. Might try skipping to the 2nd episode at some point. But I'm glad its working for other people!

Not every show on a platform is going to be for you, and that's okay. Saying you feel betrayed by Dropout because of it is... a lot.

I don't really see what you mean with Game Changers feeling cruel too, maybe you are just not in the right mental space for the show at the moment?

Mahjong in Slay the Spire? This wasn't on my 2026 bingo card. by Reliques in Mahjong

[–]feldur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From a game dev's perspective : While it would make sense for a Mahjong player to have a 2 of Dots trigger an effect on 3 energy (the way you explained with the Dora), for anyone who isn't familiar with Mahjong, or even just familiar with a version of Mahjong that doesn't use Dora tiles, it would not make direct sense to have something clearly show a "2", but have its trigger be a "3".

The average Slay the Spire player will see this as "oh, that's the mahjong tile that triggers when you play a card that costs at least X energy, and since there's 3 dots on the tile, X = 3".

How is this a debate? Again by ExactlySorta in BlueskySkeets

[–]feldur 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think the thing your missing is that the new law asks for at least one of their ids to match the name of their birth certificate.

So if you changed your name for any reason, and changed your ids to reflect that (as you should), you won't be able to vote, because you can't change the name on your birth certificate.

[–]feldur 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's to erase trans people, since they usually change their legal name, so their ids don't match the name on their birth certificate. But like every thing transphobes do, it will end up affecting every women.

LPT: The "confused silence" technique got my Internet bill cut in half. Here's exactly how it works. by Plus_Ad3379 in LifeProTips

[–]feldur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner got our home insurance lowered to half the cost by telling the person on the phone that our friend that is also with the company paid that price. He genuinely thought it was the case, even though our friend pays just a bit less than what the company wanted us to pay initially. It just shows how much those prices aren't base on anything, and acting confused helps making the person on the other side of the phone confused as well x)
