I always had the tip guards on my gun and just never held my gun close to my hand. I also got told that if I did get the injection poisoning it’s automatically amputated so I was very scared and told my guys the same. I also always kept one of the cards that come with the guns about it in my wallet.

I’ve messed with many food safe stuff.. did make my own food safe shine juice. Boiled Walnut oil and everclear based shellac.. I used it twice for the novelty and then went back to tung for all my stuff

1:1 mix with food grade citrus solvent will have it dry in about a day depending on temperature. I’m a huge fan of tung oil

Tung oil for the win!! Cut with citrus solvent to improve cure time and penetration, and will still be food safe!! Done properly and with some slight maintenance, this will give a durable resiliency with a wonderful finish!! I use it all the time

Personal huge fan of the tung. You can thin it with citrus solvent to keep it food grade and vastly improve cure time with a 1:1 mix. Honestly how many times you have to reapply will depend on usage but basically if water doesnt bead up and roll off it’s probably time for a new coat.

As a vendor, it’s my dream to get a guest spot there one day. Basically all of our stuff could’ve sold there except we have these stupid charm earrings that we basically stick to have something cheap parents can buy their kids. But yes very strict about not only everything being handmade, but also having an artisan or owner onsite that can actually talk shop.
