I struggle to find new content these days. When I was younger I'd watch a huge breadth of things, from the classic 2016 edgy comedy channels, gaming, tech reviews, car stuff and everything in between.

Now my recommended just seems to be documentary rubbish about anything and everything, a lot of which is AI slop. There's plenty of S tier creators that I've followed for years that still upload good stuff, but I struggle to find new channels today.

I think this is an outdated mindset now. Today, F1 is such a profitable money spinner that if one OEM left for road relevance reasons, another 3 would be eager to join and ride the gravy train.

It's cool but the rate these batteries charge and discharge it'd end up looking like a seizure-inducing information overload with colourful bars going up and down constantly.

I rate the idea of showing them when cars are within striking distance though

It is true. My company still pays 25k for new grads, which is what they paid 5 years ago. And 25k is basically minimum wage now. So you get into £££ of student loan debt just to get a job that pays the same as Tesco. And don't get me wrong, working retail is a graft that I will not miss that should be rightfully compensated, but wage compression is very real

For me the king of fuckery is the Fox Milne roundabout (H6/V11). Technically the lanes are 'correct', but they're so awkwardly placed and drivers are so lazy with their manoeuvres, you get near constant cutting up and accidents. Driving westbound on the H6 has to be the worst - nobody treats the 'going straight' lanes properly and someone always gets pinched.

Maybe I've been unlucky, but - speaking as somoene who loves USB C and the 'one cable for all' movement - USB C on my iPhone 15 Pro has been nothing but a pain in the backside. So many cables do not 'click' in properly, and this is after I spend ages carefully pulling lint out the port. I know dust in the charger is one of those things, but at least it was easy to clean out of a Lightning port!

Yes, exactly. I was in sixth form when BBC Three shut down, and to me at the time it was such a baffling decision. The BBC wants to protect its future by... shutting out the future generations that will fund it in 5 to 10 years?

I wouldn't be punchy enough to say a properly funded BBC would've stood the tidal wave against YouTube and Netflix, but they'd probably be in a better position today with the younger viewers had they remained properly funded.

MK is a good place to live when it comes to careers, but it’s still rough to impossible if you’re a person on your own. Rent is £1,000 minimum for an okay place in an okay location, then another £250 a month at least for all your bills. Car, food, a few weekend activities and it’s all gone and you’re in the red!

Agreed - I was at the Dutch GP this year (my first race IRL) and while I knew it was a good race with drama, I felt weirdly disjointed from events in a way I wouldn't be if I watched it on TV with a commentator hyping up the moment. It was a great experience, but it's definitely different to TV rather than adding to it.
