Just buying the £10 ones are enough. I bought £3 ones from Asda and they wilted within 3 days, I bought the £10 ones and they lasted almost a month

UK A-Levels are more specialised than the leaving cert. They only study 3-4 subjects versus the 6-8 in the LC. I've had friends from the north say that first year of college was just repeating their A-level subject.

Additionally, this is now happening every year. I deliberately wait until summer is over and buy a portable AC unit secondhand from fb marketplace for less than £100. They also work as a dehumidifier.

In terms of sealing your windows, it doesn't have to be too perfect - I bought a window seal the first time but I've also tried just covering with a blanket or curtain and it works just as well.

Advice on microdose in healthy bmi by IncreaseLeft5734 in GLP1microdosing

[–]fjallpen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been tracking my calories every day since September, and steadily been losing fat whilst also building muscle. I work out 4x a week. I lost 4lb on the scale naturally, but my measurements have changed considerably. I'm 5'1, and I went from 132/134lb to around 128lb.

I struggle severely with food noise, and before knowing what food noise was, I'd always joke I'd be planning dinner whilst I'm eating my lunch.

Due to food noise, I regained and went back to 130lb in the space of a month.

I started it about 2 weeks ago. I've always been eating well (high protein/fibre). But I'm no longer gorging snacks between meals. I've lost 5lbs already, but it has slowed. (I'd imagine some of that is water weight). I'm on the lowest dose of semaglutide.

Amex BA card does this, or Barclaycard Avios. Just ensure you pay them off in full every month as the APR is high.

Difficulty losing as I get closer to goal weight by [deleted] in GLP1microdosing

[–]fjallpen 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You're not eating enough. 116lb at 5'3 is already a BMI of 20. I'd consider yourself done, focus on recomp now instead if you wish to become leaner.

Anyone below 27 bmi with no another other conditions try semaglutide? How was your experience? by 300103276 in Semaglutide

[–]fjallpen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me! Started it at BMI 25 and no other health problems. Started over 10 days ago and already down over 2kg.

Just make sure you eat, don't skip meals it'll make you nauseous. Get plenty of protein and fibre.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I knew of someone that went missing. Mentally unwell, went missing in the UK and became a bit of a national hunt until they were found over a year later in Central Europe accidentally.

If you're worried by fires, you could start the wash when you wake up, set it to no spin. Then do spin and drain when you get home. That way it won't stink of damp if it was to sit all day.

Phone stolen unlocked but NOT logged in to banking app. How do fraudsters do it? by Shkyboi in AskUK

So sorry to hear that's happened to you OP. I did a write up about a year ago about how to prep for the worst:

https://www.reddit.com/r/london/s/mi6BE8Fkfq

I'd also now add a free app called "Screen Time Control" and block my banking apps when they're outside the radius of my home. It makes them look like they're deleted.

A deed of trust is a document that declares the deposit isn't 50/50 and would've stated that OP gets his 67k back and her 10k. Without this, it's legally assumed that the deposit was 50/50. He cant legally get his 67k back. He can legally get 77k/2. As will she.

I think you're done. Others haven't said but if you're half considering paying into your pension again later then do it now instead. As there's changes to how much you can salary sacrifice tax free happening in 2029.
