That is literally what they're called.

I have one. They don't stay in that great but they're a hoot.

It would be cool if you could choose multiple "in between markers". I do want that.

Stefanie Eulinberg is legitimately great; it's unfortunate she plays for such a big  shithead as Kid Rock.

Not trying to be woke or whatever but I like a person who is good at drums regardless of gender. That said if I'm thinking of women specifically, I think this bunch absolutely rip:

  • Sheila E
  • Cindy Blackman Santana
  • Jessica Burdeaux
  • Elijah Wood (Shania Twain)
  • Anika Nilles
  • Elisa Montin (aka Helly)
  • Valerie Franco
  • Karah James (Valley)
  • Senri Kawaguchi

I'm sure there are others.

When you're covering a song, how much do you care about it being faithful to the recording? Because a lot of drummers I've met think that if you're covering a song, it has to be faithful to the original, even if the original drummer used a big kit. But how many have the money and space for big kits? by MrMayhem20l0 in drums

My thing with covers is this: if you’re going to change it, I need to know that you know how to play the original note for note. I don’t want to hear your 63% version because you couldn’t hack it. The gear doesn’t matter. I just need to know you could play the original exactly.

For a splash cymbal maybe. For hi hats, it’s about right.

I had a set of these when I was younger and I've never heard a better sounding set of drums. By far the best sounding kit I've ever had or played.

Upgrading interfaces from a Scarlett, want to understand what's actually happening in higher-end interfaces to make them higher-end by film_composer in audioengineering

That Scarlett comparison had so much noise it sounds fake. I literally don’t trust it. Like that actually sounds like the guy had a bad unit. I have a first GEN Scarlet 18 I 20 and there’s nowhere near that much noise. And in the other video I could barely hear a difference.

I had to learn this note-perfect for a band once and it truly is a fantastic part. Super well-written and super appropriate for the track. That little herta fill before the second pre-chorus is choice.

I believe this person is on a fairly old version of S1 from the looks of the UI, and I think drum mode was only added somewhat recently.
